Welcome to 1000 Praises ("we", "our", "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

1000 Praises does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number inside the app. We do, however, use certain device-level and service-level data to operate features such as subscriptions, notifications, analytics, ads, and cloud-delivered meditation content.

• No account registration: You can use the app without creating an account or signing in.
• No location data: We do not request precise or approximate location access.
• Local preferences: App settings such as reminder preferences, background music settings, playback hints, and some subscription state are stored locally on your device.
• Cloud content metadata: Meditation catalogs, premium flags, and media references may be retrieved from Firebase services so content can be updated without requiring a full app update.
• Usage and diagnostics data: Firebase Analytics may collect app interaction data such as screen views, playback actions, upgrade taps, purchase flow events, and feature usage.
• Push notification data: If notifications are enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging may create a device token to deliver push notifications.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services and platforms:

• Google AdMob: The free version of the app displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Depending on your region, consent status, and platform settings, AdMob and its partners may process device identifiers, ad interaction data, and similar information in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase: The app uses Firebase services including Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage. These services may process app usage data, notification delivery data, and cloud-hosted meditation metadata or media. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
• Apple App Store and Google Play: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google through the platform billing systems used on your device. We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase status may be checked through store APIs to confirm premium access and restore prior purchases.

Audio and Meditation Content

Some content in the app is bundled locally on your device, and some meditation-related content may be fetched from Firebase Storage or referenced through Cloud Firestore. This can include cover images, narration audio, background audio, daily meditation metadata, and premium availability flags.

Notifications

The app supports both locally scheduled reminders and optional push notifications. If you allow notifications, your device may receive local reminders created on-device and remote notifications delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging. Notification tokens used for delivery are managed by the platform and Firebase.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe to premium, the transaction is handled by Apple or Google using their in-app purchase systems. The app may store a local premium flag and may also check platform purchase records to restore or confirm entitlement status.

Children's Privacy

Our app is intended to be family-friendly and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. However, third-party services such as AdMob, Firebase, Apple, and Google may process device or app usage data as part of providing their services. Parents and guardians should review those providers' privacy disclosures as well.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate app functionality, including analytics, ads, notifications, cloud content delivery, and in-app purchases.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to limit the amount of data handled by the app and rely on established providers such as Apple, Google, and Firebase for payments, cloud delivery, analytics, and notification infrastructure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we aim to keep data handling minimal and proportionate to the features provided.

Your Choices

• You can disable app notifications in your device settings.
• You can choose whether to subscribe to premium features.
• You can reset the app or clear local app data from your device if you want to remove locally stored preferences.
• You can review Google, Firebase, Apple, and Google Play privacy materials for details about how their services process data.
